Gloria E. Akan, M.D.
Gloria E. Akan, M.D. is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Medical School - Madison. She completed an internship in Pediatrics at Beth Israel Medical Center/Long Island College Hospital in New York City, and a Pediatric Residency at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. She is board certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology, and board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Akan spent a year conducting clinical research in pediatric asthma at Howard University in Washington, DC. She has been in private practice as an allergist/immunologist in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area. Dr. Akan is a member of the American Academy of Allergy Asthma and Immunology.
Christopher W. Calabria, M.D.
Christopher W. Calabria, M.D., is a graduate of The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA and the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He served nine years in the United States Air Force as an Allergist and Pediatrician. He completed his Pediatric Residency at Wright State University/Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, OH. He completed his Allergy and Immunology Fellowship at Wilford Hall Medical Center on Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX. He has published numerous Allergy studies in major professional journals. Dr. Calabria is board certified in Allergy/Immunology and Pediatrics and is a member of the American College and American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.
Elliott Richard Pearl, M.D.
Elliott Richard Pearl, M.D. is a graduate of the University of Iowa. He completed his internship and residency in pediatrics at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore and his fellowship in Basic and Clinical Immunology at the University of Alabama. He has been in private practice as an allergist/immunologist at the Patuxent Medical Group in Maryland, the Southeast Permanente Medical Group in North Carolina and the University of Virginia School of Medicine. Dr. Pearl is a member of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Allergy and Immunology.
